Qualifications



Minimum five years of recent experience in managing and supporting in large scale engineering and operational roles in support of Data Loss Prevention technologies; expert understanding and experience in development and troubleshooting various technologies including Cloud and Systems automation, network connectivity, database, APIs and other integration layers as it relates to DLP

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience

Ability to understand the long-term (“big picture”) and short-term perspectives of situations and ability to apply multiple technical solutions to business problems; ability to translate business needs into solution engineering requirements and estimate the financial impact of solution architecture alternatives; quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies; ability to analyze and deploy proof-of-concepts in a lab environment using data centric technologies

Good understanding of various infrastructure and data security processes, procedures, approaches, tools and design patterns; Experience in supporting information security operations, specifically monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining mission critical networks and information systems

Understanding of Data Loss/Leakage protection architecture and engineering like Symantec DLP, Purview DLP and Digital Guardian; knowledge on integration with Web Proxy, email infrastructure and encryption technologies

US Citizenship is required

Responsibilities



Responsible for the architectural design, planning and testing of products or solutions within a specific area of expertise; lead development and maintenance all technical standards for a specific technology discipline; maintain deep technical and business knowledge of current industry directions and trends for a specific discipline; provide detailed TCO and ROI structure for current and proposed technologies

Collaborate with the Enterprise Architecture, Operations teams and well as vendors in various Delivery Projects and technology solutions; create technology engineering proposals for to improve the reliability, performance or capability of technology solutions required by the business

Evaluate the current architecture and develop action plans to make necessary improvements in line with industry best practices and standards

Provide input on the overall technology plan for the organization, ensuring specific technologies integrate effectively with other aspects of the network security technical infrastructure; provide last tier support for operations and support teams, including root cause analysis and preventative analysis

Collaborate with various technology teams to develop operational run books and other documentation required to support all deployed technology standards; experience leading a technology team providing leadership and technology direction to senior engineers and technology staff

Strong ability to analyze, understand and identify the best design for a technical solution with respect to the tradeoffs of architectural principals including performance, cost effectiveness, availability and operability
